Roeder suggests top job would interest him

Glenn Roeder has hinted for the first time that he is interested in the vacant manager’s job at Newcastle.

The former Magpies defender took over from the sacked Graeme Souness on a caretaker basis in February and has guided his side into the top seven in the Barclays Premiership table and in with a chance of European qualification.
