Fowler back in fold for Reds

Robbie Fowler returns to Liverpool’s squad for the Merseyside derby clash with Everton after being cup-tied for the midweek FA Cup quarter-final battering of Birmingham.

Fowler scored six Merseyside derby goals in his previous spell at the club, and will be desperate to start the match against the Toffees having started on the bench last weekend at Newcastle.

Liverpool had Mohamed Sissoko and John Arne Riise both back from injury at Birmingham, while Djimi Traore is struggling with a thigh problem.
