Trip to Rovers is out for Ljungberg

Arsenal midfielder Freddie Ljungberg will miss tomorrow’s arclays Premiership trip to Blackburn with a calf injury picked up in the midweek Champions League win over Real Madrid.

Veteran striker Dennis Bergkamp is also not yet fully match fit after a similar problem but Togo international Emmanuel Adebayor gives manager Arsene Wenger another option in attack after being cup-tied in Europe. Youngster Arturo Lupoli is also included in the squad along with Theo Walcott.

Defender Ashley Cole played for the reserves in midweek but will not be rushed back from a thigh problem. Sol Campbell (ankle), Robin van Persie (toe), Gael Clichy (foot), Pascal Cygan (hamstring) and Kerrea Gilbert (back) are all lso continuing to receive treatment. Lauren (knee) is out for the season.
