FA awaits ref's report

The Football Association will await the report of referee Graham Poll before deciding whether to further investigate a fracas in the players’ tunnel during half-time of last night’s Carling Cup semi-final between Manchester United and Blackburn.

According to Rovers boss Mark Hughes, Rio Ferdinand “clipped” Robbie Savage as they left the field, which led to the majority of the other players becoming involved.
