No changes for United

Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson fielded the same line-up that finished Sunday’s last-gasp 1-0 victory over Liverpool for the second leg of his side’s Carling Cup semi-final with Blackburn.

That meant a three-pronged strikeforce of Ruud van Nistelrooy, Wayne Rooney and Louis Saha, with the latter in for John O’Shea – who faces up to six weeks out with broken ribs.
