Sven silent on fake Sheikh claims

England football manager Sven Goran Eriksson today refused to answer journalists’ questions about his commitment to the team following his comments to an undercover reporter.

The 57-year-old has faced a troubled few days after he told a News of the World journalist posing as a rich Arab that he would quit as England coach if the team won the World Cup this summer and suggested he would be prepared to become manager of Aston Villa as part of a hypothetical takeover.
