Mellberg not thinking about the drop

Captain Olof Mellberg is refusing to contemplate the possibility of a relegation battle despite Aston Villa slipping back into the bottom six of the Premiership.

Villa are too close to the bottom three for comfort after Saturday’s second-half fade-out condemned them to a 2-1 reversal at home to West Ham.
