Jewell names full-strength side to face Arsenal young guns

Rival bosses Paul Jewell and Arsene Wenger named sides of vastly differing strengths for tonight’s Carling Cup semi-final at the JJB Stadium.

While Wenger was content to let Arsenal’s hopes rest largely on the shoulders of the youngsters who were responsible for getting the Gunners into the last four, Wigan chief Jewell opted to mark his club’s first major domestic semi-final appearance with a full strength line-up.
