Alex Ferguson has pencilled £7m (€10.2m) new-boy Nemanja Vidic in for an FA Cup debut against non-league Burton Albion next Wednesday.

Vidic travelled to the Pirelli Stadium to watch yesterday’s surprise 0-0 draw which earned the Brewers their lucrative trip to Old Trafford.
