Lights out at Parkhead

Celtic fans were left in the dark when a power cut at Parkhead caused a delay to kick-off in the Bank of Scotland Premier League game against Livingston.

The Hoops were looking to cement their lead at the top of the table with a win over the West Lothian team.

And new signing Roy Keane was also due to be presented to the Celtic supporters before the match.

However, a power-cut saw the floodlights and lights inside the ground turned off 20 minutes before the kick-off.

Turnstiles at Celtic Park were affected by the electricity problems at the stadium.

Radio reporters were also forced to broadcast using mobile telephones as the situation was assessed by the club, Scottish Power and Strathclyde Police.
