Giannakopoulos returns for Bolton

Stelios Giannakopoulos, who scored the winner when the teams met in the league last season, returned to the Bolton side to face the Gunners.

The Greece winger was forced to sit out the Carling Cup victory against Leicester in midweek because of a foot injury.

El-Hadji Diouf was also back after suspension and partnered Kevin Davies in attack.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger made two changes to the side which defeated Blackburn last weekend.

Robin van Persie and Freddie Ljungberg came in for Dennis Bergkamp and Jose Reyes.

Thierry Henry captained the side and was looking to improve his splendid tally of eight goals in seven league matches.
