Jewell: Management is frail position

Paul Jewell believes Alain Perrin’s sacking as Portsmouth boss yesterday has again underlined the frailty of management.

Perrin was axed after just seven months in charge at Fratton Park, with the south-coast club one place off the relegation zone after failing to win a home game this season.
