Morientes worry for Reds

Fernando Morientes is Liverpool’s only concern for tomorrow’s Barclays Premiership clash at Aston Villa, as he continues his recovery from a knee injury which forced him off after scoring in Tuesday’s Champions League victory over Anderlecht.

Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez desperately wants Morientes to continue to gain match fitness after his injury lay-off, but could still pair Djibril Cisse and Peter Crouch at Villa Park.

Steven Gerrard will probably continue as a wide right midfielder on what will be his 300th match for the Anfield club.
