Wigan boss Paul Jewell is expected to make wholesale changes to his side for tomorrow night’s Carling Cup third-round tie against Watford at the JJB Stadium.

Striker Jason Roberts is almost certain to sit out after picking up a slight thigh strain against Aston Villa while Lee McCulloch is still suspended.
