Midfield trio still missing for Magpies

Newcastle boss Graeme Souness will again be without midfield trio Kieron Dyer, Emre and Nolberto Solano for the Barclays Premiership clash with Manchester City tomorrow.

Dyer and Emre both have hamstring injuries while Solano continues to struggle with a thigh strain and, although all three could have played at a push, Souness is not prepared to take a risk with Albert Luque (also hamstring) out for two months.
