Gregg laments passing of Cantwell

Legendary Manchester United goalkeeper Harry Gregg has ’lost a great friend’ in the Red Devils’ 1963 FA Cup-winning captain Noel Cantwell, who has died in Peterborough aged 73.

Gregg remained close friends with Cantwell after their respective playing careers had finished and chatted to the Cork-born defender only last week.
