Wenger urges Cole lawyers to back down

Arsene Wenger has called on Ashley Cole’s legal team to drop their intended appeal to the Court of Arbitration for Sport following the tapping-up case involving Chelsea.

Cole was fined £100,000 (€140,000) – reduced to £75,000 (€106,000) on appeal – for his part in the illegal talks which took place between himself and Chelsea in January.
