Ellington makes Baggies debut in reserve clash
Nathan Ellington is set to make his first appearance in West Brom colours in tonight’s reserve team game against Aston Villa.
The 24-year-old striker, who completed a move from Premiership rivals Wigan yesterday, has been included in a 16-man squad for the game at Villa Park.
Ellington is expected to make his Premiership debut for West Brom against Portsmouth this Saturday but is being given a run-out with the reserves after his pre-season was disrupted by a shoulder injury.
Goalkeeper Russell Hoult will continue his comeback from a groin injury while Darren Moore and Darren Carter have also been named in the reserve-team squad.
