Giggs misses out

Ryan Giggs looks set to miss Manchester United’s Champions League qualifier with Hungarian title winners Debrecen at Old Trafford tomorrow.

Giggs has been suffering from a chest infection and is one of five senior men to miss out along with Louis Saha (knee), Wes Brown (Achilles), Quinton Fortune (knee) and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer (knee).

Gabriel Heinze is included in the Red Devils’ squad despite playing just once in pre-season so far, while summer signings Edwin van der Sar and Park Ji-sung are available to make their debuts.
