Carmarthen Town hit back in fine style to book their place in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Cup.

Trailing 2-0 from the first leg in Ireland, the Welsh club signalled notice of their intention when Daniel Thomas opened the scoring.

But the FAI Cup holders equalised from the penalty spot through Andy Myler to restore their two-goal advantage and they looked to be in control of the tie at half-time.

However, the home side threw caution to the wind after the break and hit the visitors with a four-goal blitz to seal their passage.

Gary Lloyd struck twice, Thomas added his second before Nathan Cotterall sealed the win 10 minutes from time.
