Vikings plunder points to move second

Dublin City moved second in the eircom League First Division tonight as they proved too strong for Monaghan United.

Brian Kelly put the Vikings ahead on nine minutes and Phillip Gorman doubled their lead on 45 minutes.

David Freeman put Dublin City 3-0 up before Paul Whelan was sent off on 76 minutes.

Ben Whelehan completed the scoring for Dublin City in the final minute.
