Steven Gerrard has decided to stay at Liverpool in an astonishing about-turn after late night talks with chief executive Rick Parry.

Gerrard seemed certain to quit the Reds yesterday after it was revealed he had told the club he wanted to leave following the collapse of new contract talks.
