Southampton chairman Rupert Lowe today confirmed he has turned down a bid for England striker Peter Crouch.

Southampton chairman Rupert Lowe today confirmed he has turned down a bid for England striker Peter Crouch.

Lowe refused to name the club involved, although Liverpool have been linked with a £5m (€7.4m) move for the former Aston Villa hitman.
