Benitez wants 20 more years
Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez wants to stay at Anfield for 20 years.
Benitez has guided Liverpool to this season’s Champions League final showdown with AC Milan on May 25.
He said: “As a manager I am young and if I am at Liverpool for another 20 years I hope to reach many more finals and win many more trophies. I don’t know if I will be here that long, but I hope so.
“When you are happy here, you are winning and you see the supporters, why wouldn’t you want to stay for so long?”
Alex Ferguson, the Barclays Premiership’s longest-serving manager, reaches his 20th anniversary in charge of Manchester United in November 2006.
