Defender Robbie Elliott has become the latest addition to Newcastle’s depressing injury list ahead of tomorrow night’s Barclays Premiership trip to Fulham.

The 31-year-old limped out of Saturday’s goalless draw with Crystal Palace with a thigh strain, to join Celestine Babayaro and Kieron Dyer (both hamstring), Titus Bramble and Aaron Hughes (both groin) and Jermaine Jenas and Nicky Butt (both calf) on the sidelines.
