Wouters staying at Ibrox

Rangers first-team coach Jan Wouters has signed a one-year extension to his contract with the club.

The former Holland international joined the Ibrox outfit under former manager Dick Advocaat in 2001.

Wouters told Rangers News: “We talked about my contract last month and agreed I would stay for another year.

“It was a very easy decision to make and I’m pleased to have everything resolved.

“I know I will be here until the end of next season at least and I’m happy.”
