Big Dunc rescues Everton again
Everton 1 Birmingham City 1
Duncan Ferguson struck for the second time in four days to save Everton from what could have been a hugely-damaging defeat in their quest for Champions League qualification.
The big Scot scored the winner on Wednesday against Manchester United and today he salvaged a priceless point with four minutes to go at Goodison Park.
Former Liverpool man Emile Heskey had done his bit for the cause of his ex-team mates with a fifth-minute strike which Birmingham defended superbly until Everton’s barrage produced Ferguson’s late strike.
