Everton are on the brink of European qualification for the first time in a decade after their momentous win over Manchester United at Goodison Park last night.

The crucial goal came from Duncan Ferguson, who stooped in the second half to head the winner to leave the Toffeemen needing one more win to almost guarantee UEFA Cup qualification.

Moyes said: “Another couple of wins and the clubs around us will start to run out of games.”
