Blackburn skipper Andy Todd has recovered from the ‘flu which forced him off at half-time of his side's 1-0 home defeat to Arsenal a fortnight ago.

Todd will lead the side for tomorrow’s Barclays Premiership clash at Manchester United, which sees manager Mark Hughes return to Old Trafford where he was so successful as a player.

Hughes, though, is again without influential midfielder Robbie Savage who is drawing closer to a return from a groin injury, while striker Paul Dickov is doubtful with his own groin problem.

Provisional squad: Friedel, Neill, Todd, Nelsen, Matteo, Mokoena, Johansson, Emerton, Thompson, Reid, Flitcroft, Tugay, Pedersen, Dickov, Stead, Gallagher, Johnson, Enckelman.
