Shelbourne are likely to be unchanged from last Monday’s 1-0 Setanta Cup defeat by Cork City when they face eircom League leaders Waterford United at Tolka Park.

Bobby Ryan and Glen Fitzpatrick are both back in training but manager Pat Fenlon will not be rushing them back in, meaning Richie Baker will continue on the right wing while Jason Byrne and Glen Crowe will both be going in search of their first League goals of the season.

Waterford United player-manager Alan Reynolds is doubtful with a groin strain while Kevin Doherty is ineligible under the terms of his loan deal which saw him swap Shelbourne for Waterford during the close season.

However, striker Daryl Murphy returns after missing last week’s 2-1 win over Finn Harps because after being called up to the Republic of Ireland Under 21 squad.
