Baird keen to stay with Saints

Southampton full-back Chris Baird wants to stay at St Mary’s despite spending almost two years out of the first team.

The 23-year-old, who could win his 14th cap for Northern Ireland if he features against England at Old Trafford tomorrow, is determined to force his way back into the Saints starting line-up.
