Cunningham and Given sit out training

Republic of Ireland captain Kenny Cunningham and goalkeeper Shay Given sat out today's training session as a precautionary measure.

Matt Holland will join up with the Ireland squad tomorrow, ahead of the team's departure for Israel.

Brian Kerr will be looking for a result in Tel Aviv as Ireland chase qualification for the World Cup.

Ireland are currently level with Israel and France in Group 4.
