Richardson delays naming City assistant
Cork City manager Damien Richardson had delayed naming his assistant manager because he was unable to meet all prospective candidates as quick as he hoped.
Richardson had hoped to meet potential assistants on Tuesday but it proved too difficult as he continued his series of one-on-one meetings with the players as well as taking training.
Further meetings with prospective assistants were held today and Richardson remains confident he will have a number two in place by the end of the week.
Meanwhile, Richardson is planning to meet out of contract defender Derek Coughlan in the next 24 hours in the hope of thrashing out an agreement which will see Coughlan rejoin the club.
