United ready to pounce on Chelsea, says Rooney

Manchester United match-winner Wayne Rooney tonight warned Chelsea the Red Devils are ready to “pounce” if the leaders slip up in the Barclays Premiership run-in.

The England striker scored twice to give United an important 2-1 win over Portsmouth at Old Trafford – putting his team only six points adrift of Chelsea.
