Mourinho proud despite Cup defeat

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho insisted he was still proud of his team’s performance despite seeing them lose their FA Cup tie against Newcastle 1-0.

Patrick Kluivert struck the only goal of the game early in the first half and, although Chelsea battled hard for an equaliser, their hopes of an unprecedented quadruple were ended at St James’ Park.
