Cygan set to carry on

Pascal Cygan is set to continue to deputise for suspended defender Kolo Toure as Arsenal take on Manchester United at Highbury tomorrow night.

Cygan made his first appearance in two months in last Saturday’s FA Cup win against Wolves but with Toure suspended and Phillipe Senderos injured, the Frenchman is again set to partner Sol Campbell.

Thierry Henry and Patrick Vieira are both expected to shake off knocks, while Freddie Ljungberg and Robert Pires may be preferred to Jose Reyes on the flanks.

Manuel Almunia will, meanwhile, replace Jens Lehmann, while Ashley Cole, Lauren and Dennis Bergkamp are also set to return to the side.
