United fans wary of new Glazer move

Manchester United fans have reacted with immediate and predictable fury to renewed speculation that Malcolm Glazer is set to launch a fresh takeover bid.

Unconfirmed reports suggest Glazer has managed to gain the backing of major investment bank NM Rothschild for his £800m (€1.1bn) plan and is preparing to make a third approach to the Old Trafford board having twice been rebuffed already.
