Bellamy won't go cheaply

Newcastle today warned Craig Bellamy’s suitors they will not get him on the cheap after slapping a £7m (€10.1m) price tag on his head.

Chairman Freddy Shepherd, who fears “anarchy” will reign in football if unruly players are not brought to heel, knows he has little choice but to get rid of Bellamy after the Welsh international irreparably damaged his relationship with manager Graeme Souness.
