'Very quiet' on Bellamy front

Only Stoke City have offered Newcastle rebel Craig Bellamy another chance in English football in the immediate aftermath of his war of words with manager Graeme Souness.

Chairman Freddy Shepherd threw open the exit door at St James’ Park yesterday after Bellamy apparently sealed his own fate by refusing to apologise for his tirade.
