Toure charged for alleged elbow on Shearer

Arsenal defender Kolo Toure has been charged by the Football Association for an alleged elbow into Alan Shearer’s back during Newcastle’s weekend match at Highbury.

While Craig Bellamy’s spat with Newcastle boss Graeme Souness was making the headlines after the game, the FA were reviewing video evidence of Toure’s clash with Shearer on the pitch.
