Middlesbrough manager Steve McLaren will be without midfielder Ray Parlour for Sunday’s Barclays Premiership clash with Everton.

Middlesbrough manager Steve McLaren will be without midfielder Ray Parlour for Sunday’s Barclays Premiership clash with Everton.

Parlour is suspended after reaching five bookings for the season and he will be joined on the sidelines by defender Chris Riggott, who picked up a knee injury on his return from a hamstring problem in the 2-1 FA Cup victory at Notts County last weekend.

Stuart Parnaby (knee) and Malcolm Christie (hamstring) are both sidelined after picking up injuries on reserve team duty in midweek, while Gaizka Mendieta (knee), Mark Viduka (hamstring) and George Boateng (broken toe) remain on the long term casualty list.

PROVISIONAL SQUAD: Schwarzer, Nash, Reiziger, McMahon, Queudrue, Southgate, Ehiogu, Cooper, Zenden, Doriva, Downing, Nemeth, Morrison, Wilson, Hasselbaink, Job, Graham.
