Fife trip awaits Celtic
Bell’s Third Division East Fife have been handed a massive incentive to defeat Dunfermline in a replay after being paired with Celtic in the Tennent’s Scottish Cup fourth round.
The Methil team held the Parsto a goalless draw on Saturday, while the cup holders defeated Old Firm rivals Rangers on Sunday.
The Fife club will travel to East End Park next week in a bid to play host to Martin O’Neill’s team in what could be a repeat of last season’s final if Dunfermline are successful.
The draw for the Fourth Round of the Tennents Scottish Cup is as follows:
Aberdeen vs Inverness CT
Ross County or Airdrie vs Clyde
Queen of South vs Gretna or Dundee Utd
Ayr Utd or Stranraer vs St Mirren
Partick or Hearts vs Kilmarnock
Alloa vs Livingston or Morton
East Fife or Dunfermline vs Celtic
Hibernian vs Brechin
Matches to be played w/e Feb 5.
