Lampard misses Cup clash

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho will be without the suspended Frank Lampard for the FA Cup third round tie with Scunthorpe at Stamford Bridge.

Lampard is banned for one game after picking up five bookings this season.

Left-back Wayne Bridge is also out of the cup tie after failing to shake off the effects of the virus he collected over the festive period.

Chelsea have called up reserve Nuno Morais into the squad and assistant manager Steve Clarke confirmed that new signing Jiri Jarosik will be included after the former CSKA Moscow midfielder managed to obtain his international clearance in time.

Chelsea are still without the injured Robert Huth (ankle), Ricardo Carvalho (broken toe) and Scott Parker (broken foot).
