Boa Morte boost for Fulham
Luis Boa Morte could be back in time for Fulham’s Boxing Day trip to Arsenal if he continues to make progress recovering from a hamstring strain.
If Boa Morte, who missed the Charlton defeat because of the injury, is not ready for the Highbury clash he should be fit to face Birmingham on Tuesday.
Keeper Mark Crossley should be available for the Gunners match after making good progress in his recovery from a groin problem.
Crossley was the man in possession of the number one shirt until he sustained the injury against Blackburn last month, so manager Chris Coleman may give him the nod ahead of Edwin van der Sar.
Midfielder Claus Jensen has seen several specialists about an ongoing hamstring problem while Moritz Volz will be hoping to regain his right-back spot from Liam Rosenior.
Alain Goma has come through 90 minutes of reserve football without any problems and is back in full training and available for selection.
Provisional squad: Van der Sar, Crossley, Flitney, Rehman, Knight, Goma, Volz, Bocanegra, Radzinski, Diop, Malbranque, Pembridge, Cole, Legwinski, McBride, Hammond, Pearce, Rosenior.
