Curbishley has high hopes for Thomas

Alan Curbishley is in no doubt of the impact Jerome Thomas has made to Charlton’s resurgence, but will give the young winger a rest if it all becomes too much over the hectic festive season.

The 21-year-old joined the Addicks in a £100,000 (€145,200) deal from Arsenal during January, finding himself surplus to requirements at Highbury despite a promising loan spell with Queens Park Rangers.
