What could lie ahead for Premiership clubs in Europe
All four of England’s Champions League representatives have made it through to the knock-out stages.
Arsenal and Chelsea will be seeded as group winners, while Manchester United and Liverpool, who both finished as runners-up, will not.
And, with the rules stipulating that teams from the same association or from the same group will be kept apart, the draw on December 17 holds only a limited number of options.

As group winners, they will play the first leg away from home.
