Given desperate to bring trophy to Toon

Shay Given will make the 300th appearance of his Newcastle career in France tonight desperate to end the club’s trophy drought.

The 28-year-old Republic of Ireland international has made the number one shirt his own since his move from Blackburn in the summer of 1997.
