Burrows made two changes with Neil Clement returning from suspension and Jonathan Greening also back in the starting line-up.

Eidur Gudjohnsen got the chance to add to last week’s hat-trick against Blackburn as he was one of eight changes made by Jose Mourinho from the midweek Carling Cup clash with West Ham.

Joe Cole, Paulo Ferreira and William Gallas were the trio who retained their places in the side.

West Brom: Hoult, Scimeca, Gaardsoe, Moore, Robinson, Gera, Johnson, Clement, Greening, Earnshaw, Kanu.
