Colm Foley was St Pat's captain fantastic with a second half winner to secure their Premier Division status.

Foley rose unchallenged to head home Keith Fahey’s 66th minute free-kick for the only goal of the game.

Longford had the better of the first half with Sean Dillon and Paul Keegan bringing good saves from Brendan Clarke, while Vinny Perth had an effort cleared off the line by Barry Prenderville.
