The sides must meet again at United Park on Monday night after Drogheda wasted a couple of late chances to have booked their semi-final place.

Darren Quigley excelled with a couple of good stops to keep the Students in the competition.

Quigley first turned away a shot from Barry Molloy on 73 minutes.

The teenage keeper then made another terrific save on 90 minutes to turn a shot from Mark Rooney round a post.
